As an Athlete

I cheered for programs such as California All Stars, the University of Louisville, GymTyme All Stars, and Navarro College, earning two World Championships, two NCA Collegiate National titles, and recognition as an NCA Collegiate All-American athlete.

As a Coach & Program Director

Professionally, I continued that path as a coach and leader. I owned and operated gyms with The Stingray Allstars in Naples and Tampa, and later served as the Summit Program Director at The Stingray Allstars Marietta. During that time, I coached multiple elite teams, including six Summit Championship teams, fourteen CHEERSPORT National Championship teams, and four NCA Championship teams. I also had the opportunity to earn a World Championship with Prodigy All Stars' Midnight.

Alongside coaching, I work nationally and internationally as a choreographer and consultant, helping programs improve performance consistency and support long-term athlete development.

As a Performance Systems Architect

Much of my professional career has been spent developing and refining systems inside elite All-Star programs — not just to improve results, but to make performance predictable. To understand why something worked, how to fix it when it didn't, and how to reproduce it consistently. I became increasingly concerned with how coaches were being educated. Many were teaching skills and concepts they had never been taught to fully understand themselves. So I started where it mattered most: with my own staff. I built a structured teaching system that elevated coach knowledge beyond surface-level instruction. Coaches were trained, evaluated, and tested before being allowed to coach — not on drills, but on understanding.

Coaching Philosophy

"Goals are for people who want to win once.
Systems are for people who want to win time and time again."

Working at this level teaches you something quickly: championships are rarely lost because athletes don't work hard enough. They're lost because small limitations show up at the worst possible time — flexibility that doesn't hold, jumps that fade, or technique that breaks down under pressure.

So like most coaches, when things didn't go our way, I went looking for better drills. I attended every coaching clinic I could, collecting new stretches, progressions, and training methods. In some situations, they worked. In others, they didn't. And the most frustrating part was that there was never a consistent explanation for why. The same drill could help one athlete and fail completely with another. The same stretch could unlock a skill one week and do nothing the next.

Over time, it became clear that effort and repetition weren't the issue — understanding was.

That realization pushed me to analyze performance at a deeper level. I began studying anatomy, biomechanics, and the physics that govern movement — how force is produced, how speed is expressed, and how alignment and timing determine whether a skill succeeds or breaks down. The more I learned, the clearer it became: performance isn't random, and it isn't drill-dependent. It's structural and mechanical.

But understanding alone wasn't enough. To create repeatable results across athletes and seasons, systems were required.

This course is the result of that work. What you're learning here is the same framework I've used to educate coaches, diagnose performance issues, and develop healthier, stronger athletes at the highest levels of the sport. I'm now scaling that system to you because athletes deserve coaches who understand what they're teaching — and because there should be a higher standard.

REAL Performance University was built for coaches and programs who want clarity, structure, and repeatable results!
